Matin Mithras was born in Iran, where he spent his childhood surrounded by creativity and art. Matin’s creative exploration has involved drawing, painting, printing on textiles, and photography. Growing up in a house full of art craft supplies, Matin began experimenting with fabrics and yarns, making small pieces of embroidery and hand sewing which inspired his passion for creation and love of fashion. He graduated high school with a focus on graphic design which led him to study interior design in college thereafter.

In 2011 he immigrated to Prince Edward Island, Canada with his family. This gave him the opportunity he had always deeply desired, to pursue fashion. Matin began his journey at Ryerson University in Toronto and earned Bachelor of Fashion Design in Spring 2019.

Following his passion, Matin is currently in London, UK, studying at the London College of Fashion taking the Post Graduate Diploma Fashion Design Technology program.
